Advantages

Fast interactive workflow
The Imalytics Preclinical software uses the massive processing power of a GPU (graphics processing unit) to speed up processing time for segmentation and rendering, to achieve a fast interactive work flow.

Easy-to-use interface
The program is easy to use and does not need any prior knowledge. Furthermore it includes an informative and well-understandable manual as well as several tutorial videos showing the first steps and basic analysis with the software. Most users quickly learn to use the software after a few hours.

The program allows processing and visualization of three different datasets:
1. Underlay (e.g. CT)
2. Segmentation map
(e.g. segmented organs)
3. Overlay  (e.g. three-dimensional fluorescence distribution)

A semi-automated organ segmentation algorithm enables fast and accurate whole-body organ segmentations or the analysis of certain regions organs of interest.

Tutorials
The Imalytics Preclinical software is installed with more than ten tutorials for different example applications, e.g. multimodal analysis, organ segmentation, trabecular bone analysis, and image fusion. The tutorials are provided as videos with an example data set and the respective white papers. The videos have built-in subtitles in English, Chinese, German, and French. All the training videos come along with the data set that is shown in the respective video tutorial. Thus, the user can practise with the same data set.

Imaging modalities
The Imalytics Preclinical supports 3D, 4D and 5D image data from any modality, as long as the file format is supported. It has been used for analysis of CT, PET, SPECT, MRI, ultrasound, fluorescence imaging (FMT). Imalytics Preclinical is particularly suitable for multimodal image analysis: PET-CT, FMT-CT, SPECT-CT or MRI-CT.

Modules
The Imalytics Preclinical provides special modules for:
– Image fusion
– Trabecular bone analysis
– Vascular analysis
– 3D printing
– Spectral unmixing
– Relaxometry
– Ultrasound
